I began my career at Ernst & Young in Detroit, where I built the technical foundation in the tax practice that still drives my work today, rigorous attention to detail, deep tax knowledge, and an understanding of what truly accurate financial reporting looks like. I also served as a Senior Manager at Baker Tilly, where I led market expansion efforts for U.S. companies expanding abroad. I also led the consulting team at Apex Consulting, where I supported tax reform projects in over 15 countries. My consulting work included conducting financial due diligence and investment readiness. I now put this experience to work for Michigan’s small businesses.
